During my stay in Belgium, I approached with curiosity and admiration the “ninth art” (term coined in 1964 by Claude Beylie to define the comic or graphic novel): it was love at first sight and it left its “mark”… I am literally bewitched by the graphic language of Hergé’s stripes: flat colors enclosed by black profiles, which give life to extremely dynamic designs.
I therefore let myself be guided by the desire to learn and deepen the issues related to publishing, but above all, I explored, excavated and scoured the vast territory of techniques related to illustration for children.
My first children’s book is called “La Gente Segreta” and is published by Edizioni del Faro.
